Saw this for sale for $4,000. Not sure if genuine or not seeing the rarity plus the fact it is worn. Date looks suspect to me and the line above the date looks like it is off centre. Opinions?   Edited by JimmyD

definite fake, the date digits are all wrong..report it to the counterfeit section.

Can't report it. It isn't on ebay, it's on the coinsandcanada site. Just noticed it is also for sale on ebay. Will report it in the counterfeit forum and see if I can get it removed. Don't think any one would buy a coin like that without it being certified anyway. Edited by JimmyD

I put a post on the buy/sell section where the guy is trying to sell it .. saying that it a counterfeit and illegal to even own, let alone try to sell.

If you go on the coinsandcanada site,
you can read where the seller got pretty
upset at Bill for calling him out.
Seems to prove to me he knew it is counterfeit.
