Hi, new here. So I have been a coin collector for 20 plus years. During that time, I had the Rydell machine and sorted threw a couple million pennies. Then I got tired for shifting for wheats and turned most the pennies back into the back that was pre 82 and wheats in the bags also. But I did manage to separate about 3,000 plus wheats, so far I found one penny that the entire back is missing the lamalinate. I wonder about the value of some of the pennies that I found, abkut 30 poor mans double, Indian heads, a penny, it looks like a circle in 4 other circles striking off to the side, I'm tempted to get the 2 graded, any opinion on those? And in the wheats, should I just be looking g for the svdb, 55 dd and 14d? Here is a link of the coins. I tried for 2days posting a picture but I'm on a iPad and I'm having a problem posting thank you *** Link Removed *** Edited by Ishcabbible 01/03/2018 07:29 am

For one thing you should purchase a book called the Red Book by Whitman Publishing. In addition to the info you find in that book, simply look for things that are not right with the coins. For example off centers, doubled images, Missing info, etc. If it is not exactly the same as it is supposed to be, possibly a Mint Error.

I already ordered one. I have not had a Red Book in 15 years. I'll look for the odd Balls and the key dates I mentioned, also , any thoughts on the laminate error on the whole back of the penny, and the circle penny strikes thanks

To CCF , coin roll hunting or coin bag hunting for 20 years . If you really needed to ask what date wheat cents to look for, then you really need that Red Book . Also when searching Lincoln Cents there are other things you can consider ,like looking for errors and varieties .

How do you store you're wheats? Right now all my coins are in zip lock bags, Silver etc. I'm actually just now going threw them taking them out and putting the wheats in penny rollers, and the silver in tubes. Morgan's in tubes, I have several hundred Morgan's just thrown in a zip lock bag I need to just organize that's the hard part
