This small silver coin from India weighs 2.26 g and has a diameter of 13 mm. I've been trying for a long time but haven't been able to match it up with anything. Will appreciate any help with this.

Hm... the only thing I can see this being is a fanon from French India, made from 1731 to 1737. The obverse matches pretty well to those pieces, but the only explanation I have for the reverse being different is that the reverse is off-struck. If you turn that last picture ninety degrees clockwise, the bottom line and dots match up with the example found here. And with the coin so off-struck, the date is not visible.

Yes, I think you're right. I had been thinking this was off-struck, not showing some of the important features. Considering that, and a different die pair from the coin in the photo in the World Coin Price Guide so some variability in lettering, that explains it. Thank you!
