I just bought a couple of these key date coins. Looks about f12 details environmental damage. looks like a planchet flaw near the date.

Technically probably a F-15 but that doesn't really matter with the environmental damage.

I recently paid $41 for mine, but I would say it is worth about $75. Just my guess.

Heavy corrosion greatly reduces the value. My max would be $30 if I needed one.

Fine, details, environmental damage, corrosion.

i think $30 would be light given that this a key date. it is still quite attractive. heritage records have it $60-$105 in the last couple of years.

I don't understand what the basis for these values is. This coin wholesales for $250 in f12. Generally a coin is not discounted 85% because of a details designation unless it is a near cull, which this clearly isn't. It is a very attractive, scarce details coin. Auction records give a clear range.

It is decent looking for sure with nice color and a balanced appearance. But all bets are off when it comes to figuring what someone will pay for a compromised coin that may be difficult to resell. Personally, I would think it a very fair value it at around $75.

I could tolerate the porosity but the gouge on the obverse below the bust kills it for me. My personal valuation would be $5 to $10, but market valuation is probably in the $40 to $50 range or a bit higher. Paying much more than that is not something I would advise, you can get problem free AG-Good examples for less than $100. Gradewise, F details, porous, damaged.

I am in the lower price re condition camp. F12 by me but too many issues for my liking.
