I have this 1996 quarter dollar that appears to have an extra feather on his left wing as viewed thanks for looking

Looks like a coin scratch across the middle of the east wing.

The scratch you are reffiring to is actually raised like a
Cud not imbedded like a scratch I used the term extra feather because I didn't know any other way to describe the extra element thanks for looking

The scratch makes an incuse mark, and splits the normal feather making it look like a added feather. It is an illusion. If you made a side by side, then you would see what I'm talking about.
