I call the office at 7:45 they say come in at 9am. We get there tracey fills out all the paperwork , they take her xrays, the Dr. looks at them and agrees but also finds 1 wisdom tooth on the other side that is causing trouble. said it can come out later but since we are here I can do it today. Tracey and I ask a few questions and she decides to have the 3rd one removed.
They get her all comfy and ready to go and in walks the "office manager" she has the attitude of a cuddly porcupine. starts throwing numbers around said we need to pay $850.00 today.... we both look at her like she has 2 heads. tried to call the insurance co., closed for the holidays today and Monday.
After they saw how upset I was getting and the pain tracey was in they relented and asked for $405.00 and will submit the claims to the insurance company.
I had asked her to call the dentist that did the root canal as she has all the benefit info. I think when they saw she had $$ left to claim they changed the numbers.
The surgery took about 20 minutes. she was on alot of demerol. I poured her into the car and stopped at the pharmacy only to find out they didn't have the prescription. I called the Dr. Who said the line was busy. I walked in with the dr. on my cell phone and handed it to the pharmacist and they said "he will have to call", they wont take a script on a cell phone.
Dr. called right back and they took the info and filled it in about 20 mins.
I went to work about 2pm. she is still very sore but the bleeding has stopped and she is on tylenol 3 which works better than the hydrocodone they gave her.
Follow up next Friday.
Thanks for all your prayers and support. we hope everyone has a great Christmas and a wonderful new year. here is our Christmas picture this year. We made our own cards.

Grovey, sometimes it seems when it rains it pours. My Daughter just went in a few days back and got a root canal started. A few days later, my wife Mary broke a crown off! I hope your wife gets enough relief to enjoy Christmas. Perhaps the New year will be much better. My prayers go out to you and your family and I wish you both a Merry Christmas. Peace, Mike
