That is a price. Cool, though.

Really? $100 shipping? Come on. But, serious coolness there.

Just the shipping price alone says "This is a Rip".

Actually coinfrog that is the average for a Ruth sig in that condition.
It is bold, clear and not fading.

Concur that this is an interesting bit of history .... but whats up with $100 for 'economy shipping'?

coinfrog. On anything. If that sig was on a ball or card in that condition you would still pay that amount.
His signature is the most sought after in all of professional sports.

Crazy. The person who buys it is going to buy it for the signature not the bill.

How often can you look at that sig- 7 grand's worth, lol?
Now, if it were Lincoln or Hamilton's sig on one of those early bills...
(The USPS would charge you about $90 for insurance and $7 for a flat rate envelope for that item.)

Quote: (The USPS would charge you about $90 for insurance and $7 for a flat rate envelope for that item.) I believe that the shipping would cost the seller a considerable amount (though $90 insurance sounds a bit high, I have no experience with such dollar amounts). My point, and probably that of the others who commented about the shipping was more to say that at that price point, the seller ought to swallow that cost and not pass it on to the buyer. I always try to make free shipping on all but it now items on ebay and I bake it into the cost of the item. On a $7K there should be some room to bake in a $100.

For sure. Thanks for the input, ckrak. Anyway, I'm not a sports collector, but I'd sure rather have Ruth's sig on a baseball than an old dollar bill.
