Greetings,

With all the enthusiasm of a neophyte, I thought I had identified my coin as being a Madurai Sultanate coin, but now I see that there are myriad other possibilities. Help would be most welcome.

Can you tell me what this is? What it says?

Thank you so very much,

Banshee

Thanks, jbuck!

And thank you for your reply andyg. I have rotated the first photo.

I do not have a gram scale, but my digital postal scale shows .5 oz., so somewhere around 14 g. When I have access to a gram scale, I can post a more accurate weight.

The coin weighs approximately 14.5 grams.
(Approximately, because the scale only reads down to tenths of a gram.

Of course, mine is much more worn than this from the zeno site, but might it be this one?
