Hello everyone,

Just wanted to know if someone can help me out, found this coin roll hunting ... I live in Canada so I would go to these estate auctions or storage closure auctiin to buy Jars of coins or bunch of unsearched rolls of coins usually not alot of people would bet on pennies bonus ... Super exciting .. well after rolling one I seen this coin looks pretty rough but there's this weird damage on the rim, maybe someone can tell how this might have happened. The coin it self is probly worth face value.. here are the photos

Oh and don't know if this is a double or a well place die chip or some sort of corrosion... To make it look like a double "B" on LIBERTY..looks cool to me lol

Thanks everyone , Happy Hunting

agree. likely just damaged, but would be good to see an on-edge pic of that rim damage. almost looks like a Cud but the way the light is playing on the surface it doesn't look flat, it looks slightly sloped, which indicates some kind of pressurized scraping. reindeer are very capable of this sort of damage.
