1983-P Jefferson Nickel. Requesting Info Of Toning And Rev. Rim Error?

BmTrif6186 Valued Member 71 Posts	Posted 01/08/2018 2:21 pm I have not seen a Jefferson nickel with this "pink-ish" color toning and wondering if it could be a natural tone or if it's a deliberate Job? The coin itself has above average clarity in relation to the letters/numbers on both sides... If nothing else it's a cool conversation piece as far as I'm concerned!! It Also has a curious rim defect on the reverse side and looking for clarity on that as well... thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

There is a one in a million chance it could be struck on a cent planchet maybe . It just doesn't look right to me for that though. John1 Report this Post to the Staff
