I finally acquired a Classic Head Large Cent to fill the spot in my 7070 Type Set that I sold last year (hesitantly) and wanted to see what the CCF Members had to say about her in comparison to NGC.

Nice die crack obverse .... and associated Cud on reverse? I like the coin and would like to see it grade 15 to almost 20.... and easy to attribute with the crosslet 4 : S-294. I am making the assumption that the reverse scratches are on the holder.

A nice original example of the issue. F15, maybe closer to 20 due to the planchet and strike issues and late die state. I'd buy them all day long like this, except they're not out there to buy.

NGC has her listed as a VG10

I will cross her over to PCGS and see what they say.

I would definitely cross this one over to PCGS. VG-10 is far too low. It should be least F-12/15.
