Found a 1955 d Wheat penny that appears to be silver its magnetic as well

Yep, common to have Wheat cent that is plated. Probably nickel plated.

May even be slightly magnetic if it's nickel plate. Some schools in Science class do this as projects, look on line for plating your own coins...find them all the time when roll searching  to the funny farm!

@raf15, first welcome to CCF! Second, I agree with @mark that your coin has been nickel-plated, which can cause it to be slightly attracted to a magnet. As it would have been done after leaving the mint, the plating destroyed the numismatic value, but it looks neat so certainly save it if you want.
