i took a sackful of stinkers to the coinstar today, but not before finding a pair of 2015 shield cents with cracked heads & die breaks. first the obv & rev, then a detail:

there are a number of very thin cracks all around in Lincoln's hair, one crack leaving the top of the head and into the field between the E & the T, and you can clearly see the die break along the cracks in the hair, toward the back of the head top, under the D.

the second one:

same deal, different stinker. die cracks in the hair, die break smaller than the first example, in the same area at the back top of head, under the D. these are not the same break, the surrounding cracks are different.
