Part of a small collection from a relative. I don't know where to begin with this one, but the CCF members have surprised me with their range of expertise.
The 'diameter' ranges from 8 to 13mm.

Looks like a 15th century Russian wire denga. Something similar to this type.

Of course, it could just as easily be something completely different entirely.

The shape does resemble the Russian wire money.

Typically the Russian wire money will have lettering on the reverse.
They were crudely made, and the strike was seldom great enough to fully flatten the wire. Thus images were incomplete.
On this one all that is visible is the upper torso of Tsar Peter with spear in raised right hand.
