Recently I acquired 28 Buffalo nickels that I will be posting for grading. Hopefully we can learn together about grading these. Picked this up for $31. Thoughts about grade and problems? Thanks! No disrespect intended numismatic student ... simply stating in internet words what many CCF members are likely feeling.
We are fine with offering our time to express grade opinions on a coin or two ... you have presented us with a grading question on nearly an entire collection ...
Kudos to those who respond ... please know that they are indeed going above and beyond with their free time to support you ....
I'm thrilled for your recent Buffalo acquisition ... just know speaking only for myself it's a challenge to respond to grading requests for so many coins at the same time.

My thoughts on this coin after examining in hand is that it grades about au50. it has a full horn. The coat of fur on its back is slightly worn. The coin retains overall luster surrounding the devices. It has a thick die crack on top of the head to the rim. The front leg of the buffalo had a small dig into the metal that detracts slightly because of its location but I don't think it would details the coin.
