Looks like PMD (Post Mint Damage), but won't write it off completely until other members chime in.

to the forum!

I will agree that it has some damage, but it looks like it could be an RPM.
Can you post some pictures of the whole coin, front and back?

Although it is PMD, I can certainly understand why you would ask.

Here is what the big RPM looks like for that year. You could try to make a side by side with this image and yours made horizontal to see if they are close or not. I wish I had my software working again......

I did an overlay when the coin was first posted. The location is almost exact, that's why I asked for more photos. It looks like the top of the mint mark has been damaged and pushed down, but the rest of it resembles the RPM-001.

Thank you for posting the additional photos, but I can't see the details well enough to tell any more than before.

I suggest you go to one of the doubled die websites and look for die markers to see if it is a match or not. I doubt that it is, but it is close enough that it deserves the attention.

I didn't have access to my image host when I wanted to post this thread. Now its working:

The location on your coins mint mark is lower. So it is not the RPM for that year. Probably just damaged from what I can see on the images.
