Is this PMD or die damage? If die damage what VAM(s) might it be associated with? Based on the pic it appears raised but I'm no expert.

@JJ, that looks to me like PMD (ridges from the edge of another Morgan) impacting the field of this coin. Of course, that would mean that these marks would need to be in relief and not incuse.

It's definitely not in the die. I'm guessing it's a contact mark from bag storage. It does look like a VAM-3 however.

Often called a railroad track. It's the edge of another Morgan that hit hard enough to make that mark.
