One chilly night I decided to look through over all of these IDR 1000 coins in my hoard and discovered 3 filled die coins and surprisingly many (up to 10% coins) die clashes of varying intensity, a few have multiple clashes and one have a stronger clash than others.

For now here's the filled die:

Indonesian-2010-Idr-1000-Errors----Die-Clashes-Added-Later-And-Filled-Die
Indonesian-2010-Idr-1000-Errors----Die-Clashes-Added-Later-And-Filled-Die

Both are filled on the first "G" and first "0" so the text look like "ANCiKLUNG" and "2U10".
The other one only got the "2U10".

I'm actually curious why these filled die are different from the typical US greasers, any info or possible explanation would be appreciated.
Rest in Peace

Don't know @ Grease Fill and why difference but...odd observation w/o any clue. If you draw a line through each missing portion straight up and down, then do a circle through each, location seems in similar plane. Machining error, die affected in similar points...don't know your processes?

I'm not sure what you meant, particularly about the circle one

I've tried to look about the minting process on the internet but I only found vague articles which only explained the process vaguely

It's rather difficult to numismatically understand what they meann with the vague explanation:First, the company makes an oversized plaster model, then "there will be computer-assisted carving" (machining the master die?). Finally, minting will be done on rimmed planchets.

Rather common die clashes on these coins:

Angklung die clash on obverse.
Indonesian-2010-Idr-1000-Errors----Die-Clashes-Added-Later-And-Filled-Die

Garuda (coat of arms of Indonesia) die clash on reverse.
Indonesian-2010-Idr-1000-Errors----Die-Clashes-Added-Later-And-Filled-Die

Zero cie clash on obverse. (Will take pics tomorrow)
