Interesting. Sounds like a good idea to recycle for the next dollar coin series.

I would not be opposed to having MLK, JR on a regular circulating coin. But I don't want anymore long duration multiple coin series.

This is an old article. I don't remember exactly when this was discussed but it was several years back.

We've had civil rights leaders on coins before. This wouldn't be plowing new ground. But I think MLK may be overdue

I agree! I am so tired out by all these different reverses. As most of them do not qualify as good art, they have become tedious.

Would it help if the legislation almost moved all edge lettering back to the face?
