BH1964 Bedrock of the Community United States 10982 Posts	Posted 01/16/2018 6:41 pm I don't see any casting bubbles or other signs of a counterfeit so I'd say it's real and in real bad shape. This coin is damaged, harshly cleaned and possibly drilled? The numismatic value is darn near gone due to its condition. I wouldn't pay $100 for it but someone on ebay might. With a mintage of only 62,600 I say this coin would be a desirable hole filler in somebody's collection despite the damage. The condition looks to be around VF Details, with damage above Liberty's head and possibly cleaning. If it's authentic, it's worth a good several hundred. Report this Post to the Staff
