The coin is not plated. Looks like a VLDS coin.

I agree with John1, But there maybe a faint clash under "unum". Looks to be part of the ribbon in the pony tail. In my opinion not strong enough to be of any added value.

Not plated. It's just a Very Late Die State coin. Worth face value.

The "crack" beneath UNUM is in the right place for a die clash. The pics are too blurry for me to tell, but you may have one there.

Looks more like a scratch to me but does resemble a clash shape and it would be rotated counter clockwise if so

Edit need to look at all pictures the second picture it looks like it might be a clash but rotated ccw

If there is a clash,it is in the correct position. The chin would be above the west side of the building. Meaning the ribbon would be in somewhat the right spot.

Might it be glue residue of two coins glued together?

I am now thinking it is a little more than VLDS. Let's wait for a pro or two.

I believe mrz nailed it. The lines show up perfectly. Note the hair line under the first eastern most window, and around the "of" looks like a perfect fit. The rotation maybe off a couple degrees but very convincing.

Yeah rotation might be off a little but I was trying to show that it isn't in the correct spot but it was a rotated clash
