What do you mean with the 1886? No 1886 business strike 3CNs were issued, only 4,290 proofs were minted(third highest proof mintage of the series) |

The Three Cent piece is not an 1886, it is either a 65 or a 66. The fourth digit is rather odd. It doesn't really look like a 5 but it doesn't seem to have the upper curve and ball of a 6. It looks more like a pointed tail 6 which they didn't use on this series. |

Conder101, That's what made me believe that it was an 1886 in the first place! But after look a while the 8 turned into a 6 but still cant explain the last digit!!

For what its worth, if you look in the background of the 3CN pic it looks like the 3rd digit is a 6 on the holder. The 4th digit on the coin does look odd to me too.
