I've never been a collector for the monetary value but now I'm wondering IF I brought a coin to my LCS, I'm wondering what his offer would be.
From what I've read here it's what he would go by?

Think wholesale, pre-markups a standard set up pricing as dealers.

Thanks Crazybo, I understand it's a wholesale price but I was wanting to see a wholesale price as in the greysheet?

Tell us the coin and the grade and I will look it up for you in the greysheet. Dealers normally buy about 10% below greysheet bid and sell at bid to bid+10%.

Thank you Andrew99, I have WAY too many coins to put up here.
I'm looking for the actual Greysheet, Does it actually exist?

Yes, but it is a subscription service. You can buy individual issues, but the coins are spread out amongst a weekly, a monthly, and 3 quarterlies. https://www.greysheet.com/

If you're not a dealer or big-time collector, it probably isn't worth the subscription price.

You can buy single issues of any sheet for like $8. If you're selling a lot of coins, it might be worth it. There is no other price guide that gives you comparable information.

Thanks again Andrew99, I'm not looking to sell, I was just wondering if the Greysheet actually existed, apparently it does.

Numismedia is good and updated frequently. That is a free price guide on line that stays pretty current and not too high for prices.

I get CoinWorld magazine and every month they have coin values in there. It should be at least a good guideline.

Numismedia is a good rough guide in most cases, but it needs a lot of work with modern coins IMHO... For example, I have no problem selling a roll of XF/AU 2009-D nickels for $16 (or more) on ebay - that's 40 cents a coin... But they list it as a 6 cent coin through AU-58... They list 2009-P coins at 6 cents all the way through AU-58 as well. Lower grade circ rolls start at $25 per on ebay, with AUs bringing typically $50 or more.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

I also use Numismedia when looking for a "range" of wehat I expect to pay for coins.
My dealer pays 10 to 30 percent back of greysheet bid
