Hello,

Came across this interesting piece.

Obverse seems missing or dramatically worn.

Reverse has strong detail. I've never seen what seems to fields on a U.S. coin like this. Five stars on the shield. Reads "E Pluri Unum", "bus" is missing.

Weighs 2.6 grams and seems to be slightly/barely smaller than a typical cent.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciate.

Thank you!

No coin, not recognizable as a token and with missing detail of Pluribus is nothing more than a trinket. Play money?

Is most likely a token of some sort. Not made by the U.S. Mint, and most likely has little or no value.

Petrus, very helpful! This is definitely a button and not a coin. Thank you so much.
