spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 01/21/2018 03:10 am TNS! I can see why it caught your eye. I would say it's about a 50% off-center strike (real Mint error). As mentioned, having the date and mintmark remaining increases the value a little. Being a 95% copper cent increases the value a little over modern cents. It looks to be in pretty good shape, so I would say the value is around $10, but that is 1000x face value! Please share more of the inheritance. There may be much more interesting things in there that don't immediately catch the eye.
