2016 Penny- Proof? Unplated? Cuds? - Coin Community Forum

TheMadHatter New Member United States 39 Posts	Posted 01/21/2018 4:49 pm This 2016 penny with no mint has what looks like Extra metal in his hair on the top of his head. Possible doubling in the letters in Liberty and an error in the top left corner of The Shield on the reverse. I think it may be a proof coin but as I'm new to coin collecting Ive never seen one, so had to post. Thanks for your interest! Edge looks faintly machined, but again, I'm not very experienced. I'm actually trying to find a bettwr means of taking pictures with better lighting. Sorry. Ill be more mindful of that in the future. Report this Post to the Staff
