Help Figuring Out A Japanese (?) Token (?) | Red Cross Medal

Numismat Pillar of the Community United States 1666 Posts	Posted 05/22/2008 3:47 pm At first I though that it's a Japanese token. Then I thought it may be a Cambodian token from the French colony era. Either way, I haven't been able to find it online or in the few reference books I own. Does anyone know the language? It looks a little too squiggly for Japan, but I wouldn't know. It is made of copper or bronze, possibly gilded, and about the size of a half dollar. Thanks in advance!
