Hello members,

I found a 1944 Wheat penny with a die crack on Lincoln's head also the L on Liberty and the 1 on the date it looks like is missing, I notice there is a red mark on Lincoln's face. I will like some input from the experts. Thank you.

Mara

Looks like it spent some time in a parking lot. The damage pretty much removes any premium for your coin. More of a copper coin melt value now. A lot of times when you get a Wheat cent in circulation, they always look like they are on deaths door.

That coin has major damage. I don't see any legitimate errors, but even if it had any it wouldn't be worth anything because of the condition. Sorry.

Keep searching!
