.Recent sales of special unc special numbers seems to prove that Charlton's prices are low .

I agree 100%
Low numbers are extremely difficult to find
Especially in Unc or better condition
And when they do come up for sale especially
0000001 notes the prices are high as justifiably
So

-I just checked the 2016/28th Ed Charlton (2 editions ago) and found that 1969-1975 multicoloured #1 notes were given a BV of $1750
-in the 2017/18 (29th & 30 Ed) Charlton's the BV drops to $1650 for #1 note!

and this is actually lower than either the Journey or Frontier $10 & $20 #1 note (both listed at $1700).

Hello everyone,

I am interested in paper money with solid serial numbers and low serial numbers. Example like the one I have posted.

I find it hard to find pricing on such items, I'm sure because they are rare and hard to find for sale.

Does anyone know of a catalog or website that specializes in these items.

Thanks in advance,

The $100 solid 8888888 catalogues for $1750 in Unc yet I have seen them go for much more than that...

I would strongly suggest that any one who starts to collect paper money purchase a catalogue
The Charlton Canadian Government Paper Money Cat
The 30 th edition 2018 is currently available but the new one should be out by summer
Im sure the price of the book will pay for itself if it avoids you getting burnt on even one note
As a side note ...remember it is a guide .... some notes go for less and some for more but it gives you a ballpark to help when making a purchase

Hello Group
I am new and am confused to the last post. Unless I read it wrong they posted a link to the auction. I am not trying to cause any harm but I would like to know if that is appropriate to post. Info only.
