1989 Lincoln Cent With The Reverse Of A 1988?

Looking at some Lincoln cents and came across this 1989 Lincoln Cent. Yes, I know I'm probably looking at this all wrong but the FG initials on this coin looks just like the 1988. The initials are further away than on the 1989's I've looked at and that is few thousand. Maybe I just need a fresh set of eyes.

Its an 88. The top curve is short and no center cross bar

This is on a 1989 P Lincoln Cent, if you are correct then maybe I need to get this thing authenticated.

Its a normal one for that year. RDV-006. The 5 were finished up in 88, and a few 005s were used that year. But so far, no 005 are found on the 1989 cents.
