1992-P Lincoln Memorial Cent, Toned Grade?

BmTrif6186 Valued Member 71 Posts	Posted 01/25/2018 5:44 pm This 1992-P Lincoln Cent is an absolute stunner (in my opinion). I can't really capture it through camera but it's a very lustrous purple tone and has one little nick on the reverse and that's it!! Obviously it's not a "Red" example so I'm curious as to what it would grade out as in it's current state...? Report this Post to the Staff

Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 01/25/2018 7:24 pm I'm seeing saline exposure(salt) which turns and oxidizes copper very quickly. Only problem with that it will corrode quicker too(not the zinc, the copper plating). That can't be stopped, slow it down, rinse thoroughly in distilled water then acetone dunk to remove any organics. Seal away from air exposure. If you want to save it. Otherwise, it'll spend easily.
