This 1992-P Lincoln Cent is an absolute stunner (in my opinion). I can't really capture it through camera but it's a very lustrous purple tone and has one little nick on the reverse and that's it!! Obviously it's not a "Red" example so I'm curious as to what it would grade out as in it's current state...?

I'm seeing saline exposure(salt) which turns and oxidizes copper very quickly. Only problem with that it will corrode quicker too(not the zinc, the copper plating). That can't be stopped, slow it down, rinse thoroughly in distilled water then acetone dunk to remove any organics. Seal away from air exposure. If you want to save it. Otherwise, it'll spend easily.

Wear on the reverse cornice. You can also see it on the lapel and bottom of shoulder. AU-58

NICE FIND! Looks like a beauty! I'd keep it too.

A 92 needs to be full red to garner much value regardless of the technical grade.

Generally spot on, you see BN examples of memorials listed at $1-5 in MS slabs. However, there are a few people (like me) that will pay more for an exceptional toner.
