Hey guys-
Here's a perfect example of why getting to know your local coin dealer is a good idea.
I just stopped by his shop on my lunch break and saw that he had two 2008 Silver American Eagles in his case. I asked to take a look at them and noticed that one of them had the 2007 reverse error. However, the person who put it in the case and priced it didn't catch on to the error (tough to see, but I go by the shape of the 'U'). The price of the error coin was 32.95.
I thought about just buying it and not saying anything, but this guy is always good to me and really puts in the extra time and effort to know the names of all his customers and take care of them.
So I called him over and pointed out the overlooked error.
Long story short he sold me the error coin and the normal 2008 "W" for 100 bucks straight.

I told him he didn't have to do that but he said I could have walked out of there with the error coin for 32 bucks, so as far as he's concerned he's still making money.
I definitely pays to have a good relationship with your local coin shop.
