I am new to coin community but have been collecting for a couple years now. I acquired a 1916s merc and would like some input. Is it worth paying to get it graded/ does it have full split bands or just split bands/ and what do you think the value of the coin is.   |

I'm not sure why my post got messed up but I would like your opinion if you think this coin would be considered full split bands.

It does have FSB, but we would need a photograph of the obverse to determine grade and if it is worth submitting.

To make grading worth it your dime would have to be about MS63 and by your pictures I don't think it will make it.

So I uploaded a couple different photos of reverse and obverse side of the coin helps this helps. I'm getting use to how post and add photos so sorry this isn't very organized. Thanks!  |

Possible FSB ,but what puzzles me is the diagonal sticks on the fasces . Is that wear ,weak strike or Greaser ?  |

T-BOP I was having a hard time getting the right lighting to get a good picture. I think they are just a weird reflection because I don't see them on the coin through a loop.

I hope it hasn't been tooled to make it FB, because the vertical lines on the ax appears to be somewhat weak.
Need better resolution of pics. AU grade for sure.
