Just sharing. It is a rare occasion when I actually find something! I have not yet attributed this one.

Looks like serifs are present - if anything it's a very minor variety.

It is not 1958-D ROM-015
http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20...8DRPM015.htm
Why? Because if you look at the vertical on the mint mark, you will see a mark on it. That is from a rotated mint mark punch. Your coin is a tilted serif, not a rotated punch like 015 is.
I don't see a match for it on Variety Vista.

On Wexlers site, the list is not complete on this site. Note the wording. "Best of Varieties." So the list is not complete on his site yet.

I did have a doubt that it was the RPM-15, it looked close but I guess no cigar!

Pete, this is a good candidate for submission to J.Wiles

I do appreciate everyone responding! I will certainly consider this for submission to Wiles.

I had not been able to attribute it at all. I was wondering whether I was loosing my touch or perhaps patience!

Save it till you get three to send them in to him. You might send images first to him to see if he would consider listing it or not? That might save you some time. Wexler lists a lot more RPMs than anyone. He probably already has this one listed. (just not on his website) So he might also benefit to first send him an image before sending in the coin.

Good advice, Coop. thank you. I will hold this for a while, until I find others I can send with it. At my rate of finding varieties (seldom) and at my age (77 in a few days), it may never happen! I can try anyway!
