Just found this coin while CRH today...I consider it to be a MS62, but I am no veteran or expert, total rookie here, so that is a guess...what does everyone else think? Sorry they are sideways, couldn't figure out how to flip them...

CrazyB0 taught me well - so if it was in a roll that means it was handled so it has to be AU - Looks AU58

There is no field disturbance and luster is continuous without breaks, indicating mint state. No rub on high points, either.

I'd go to 63, although your guess of 62 was terrific.

Here again I disagree, and this mostly because of circulation hits. Generally three blemishes will reduce a coin one point in grade on each side. Adding the two sides and averaging gives the overall coin grade. I've circled hits and bag flaws that would kill a normally TPGed coin, this is just one side, I didn't bother with the reverse, altho it may actually help in total grading. It is an exceptional roll find yes, but by rote it will be only at best AU59 on the obverse due to 31 flaws.

Oh, missed a few on the date digits...

Whether or not it was found in a coin roll, I am seeing no wear. And with no visible wear, I would be at MS-63.
Rest in Peace

Looks like it has nice luster - 62/63 is about right IMO.
