Got this coin from my grandmother. Had been stored in a tea tin for what I imagine to be decades. Obverse is thoroughly tarnished, is there a way to deal with that?

Thanks!

Nice EF, even by British standards.

DO NOT clean in any way. The "tarnish" is natural toning and should be left as is.

Hi GG; looks like a nice coin. I don't see much circulation on your coin (usually the breasts and crown are a first indicator). I wouldn't be surprised if it grades MS; definitely not lower than AU though. Take a look at the trident, there should be a "B" stamped into the middle prong. As for cleaning, I don't suggest you do anything unless you know exactly what you're doing. If done right however, this coin might benefit from a short dip.
