the obvious, 1969 Mint mark looks like a sideways D facing down just west of the mint mark. The 6 in the 1969 has some clear extrawidth and the liberty is a little funky.

The 68 seems like IN GOD WE TRUST is punched high into the edge this is an uncirculated coin and has no wear.

Perhaps some light circulation or bag mark damage on the '69, otherwise nothing really unusual about the things you point out.

The 69 is PSD. The 68 is a design flaw that the mint fixed not to long after.
