I recently made a post in the Ike thread showing off some Ikes in 32 slot trays. The 32 slot trays worked pretty good but had the Ikes propped up since they did not completely fit in the slots. I wanted to try the next size available so I picked up 4 18 slot trays. These trays allow the coin to lay flat and the trays are still stack-able. I can easily handle my coins and swap out any in my set. The only downside is I need to break the set into 2 trays which isn't a big deal. All four trays staked(2 sets) All Trays side byside Set 1 tray 1 Set 1 tray 2 Set 2 tray 1 Set 2 tray 2

Excellent! This looks like it will work much better than your previous attempt.

Very nice. Do you store these in drawers?

Quote: Very nice. Do you store these in drawers? That was my first idea, but I was having trouble finding something that would work, have a basic lock, and most importantly, one my wife would like lol. I found this locking cabinet at Costco. It is mostly metal, has a basic lock to keep the kids out of, and looks good in our office/family room.

Very nice sets of Ike's and beautiful way to display them! I can see why your wife approved of the storage unit. I like it!

That is an outstanding display. It always does my heart good to see someone going above and beyond in creating a display that is safe but can still be enjoyed.

That cabinet has a really nice look to it. Now... is that a tin of 1998 Donruss Preferred I see on the 2nd (left) shelf from the bottom? I also see you have a couple Danscos in there, and it looks like you'd have plenty of room for CAPS albums. Did you consider CAPS as an Ike storage option? I think I read somewhere that you like to handle each capsule occasionally, so perhaps not.

I like the look is the Caps albums, but the price has been scarring me away. I will probably do one if I can find it locally.

I would remove the wheels. All a thief would need is a steering wheel and its out the door.
