1985-P Lincoln Entire Letter E Is Hollowed In We On The Obverse?

Why was only one Letter Hollowed and what caused this to happen? First time I have seen this type of Hollowing. Heavy Lettering at United on the Reverse? Plating issue on Obverse and Reverse? It seems to me that the underlying zinc has started to leave this coin thus leaving a bit of a shell of plating. If it was grease partly filling the die, I would expect the letters to be flatter and wider than normal. Either way, its kinda interesting.
