I'm not seeing the doubling on the 4 and the 2/1 part looks fake. Do not buy it. Looks like an altered 1942

I have seen about 8 listings in Houston Craplist with EVERY ONE being a fake coin. I NEVER buy from that source.

No. The date on the real one on the 1942-D has very strong doubling of the 4, and the tail of the 1 should be under the left end of the 2. It meets neither diagnostic.

I wasn't thinking about purchasing this coin, I just didn't see it in the picture. I've had lots and lots of successful purchases off CL over the years, so don't knock it.
