Poll Question
This should be a fun one. Is this 72 Seated dollar an MS or AU coin?

Neither... I wouldn't go any higher than XF

Thanks for the feedback, Dave! I'll add a neither option.

There's no trick question! I don't how I could make poll anymore straightforward. It's either an MS or an AU coin.

Really? OK, then I'll reluctantly choose weak strike cleaned. AU. (Preparing for humiliation).

I'll venture a neither, fakes don't get a grade do they? The highs look just like my rubbed off fake. Either its fake or that's a really polished and filled obverse die to have those shallow of details!

I swear to you on a bible that this is a real Seated dollar that is either an ms coin or an au coin. This is comical!

I chose AU, although I'm now thinking MS just because AU seems too easy...I wish I had voted MS!

It's MS. Very low MS but MS.
Those pictures of the coin are terrible like a lot of their pictures are. Highly overlit making the coin look MUCH worse to the point of quite frankly not even being accurate they're so poor.
The toning is a little weird and there may be a touch of cabinet friction but there's other spots that would say whatever rub may be there in localized areas wasn't from widespread circulation style handling.
Mike look up the pictures of it from the two name actual big boy auction house, I would bet money that's a much more realistic representation.

Graded by the TPG as AU 50? It's an EF 45, though. TPGs are far from perfect.

Baseball, you are referring to the wrong coin. There is NO other set of photos for this coin. This is it.
