Funky Obverse On An 1810-Moth 1/2 Real, 90+ Deg. CCW Rotated Reverse Die

1810 Mo - T.H. - 1/2 Real. Cropped seller photos

Found this little bit hiding out in a 30+ year old 2x2 and the seller didn't seem to know or care much about listing it correctly (hint: putting the year and country or at least the denomination in the title helps!)

Only reason it really attracted my attention is the funky obverse. It looks like the denticles were struck over the legend on the right side, or perhaps the legend was struck over the denticles. Reverse die is rotated a bit past 90 degrees CCW -- posted right side up here.

Any idea what's going on with this coin?
