Looks interesting Butch, don't think any prisons in Indonesia ever issue tokens.

I recently read a little about those commissary tokens. They are interesting, but I don't think prison tokens are going to be too high on my list to collect. Would you consider that a CC mint?

Yes.... is your interest as a COLLECTOR? Or END-USER?

Prison tokens are very much an exonumic category pursued by a small (under 200) group of dedicated collectors.

I'd ebay it to get it into their hands.

I've got a handful, mainly as representative samples of this topic. My local dealer gave me the Sing Sing ones for relatively cheap, and I also got a bunch of the plastic North and South Carolina ones. Maybe another couple.

I've also got a few POW moneys, which are pretty neat too.
