I Just Inherited Some Coins...

And when I say just inherited them, I mean they we left me me when I was 16 and they were given to my mom for save keeping. She then lost them and then found then this week, some 12 years later.

The coins came from my great-grandmother. She left them for me because when I was a small child we used to sit and look at them together.

So here they are...

Some nice coins there, specifically the 20 cent pieces and the $5 gold. Glad they werent lost forever!

can you see the mint mark on the Twenty Cent pc.it looks like a weak cc or s

They both "S" mint marks. I didn't know where to find the mints mark, but I figured it out after looking again.

Wow dude, that is an awesome set of coins to inherit. Not to mention valuable, not that you would ever sell because the sentimental value is far more cherishable.

No I wouldn't. My great-grandmother taught me alot of things and it was very touching to learn that she wanted me to have these.

Very nice coins. I 2nd the comment about them not being lost forever that would have been really sad.

Those are really nice coins congratulations on finding them again.
