I found this in a circulated bankroll from a bank box of U.S. Pennies. This RPM stood out to me like a dead doornail. I was able to see it without any magnification since I was up close to my light. I was wondering what RPM number it is. I tried to find which RPM it was, but the die markers didn't match up with mine.

How do you not see it? It's very obvious to my naked eye. You can see a little tail of another S (Look closely at my first picture). You need to look inside in the S. It's inside of the bottom tail of the S. I will try to get better pictures when I get home from work.

I think what you are seeing is caused from a damaged mint mark punch.

Thank you cwb. I wonder how many broken Mintmark punches were used for this year and Mintage?

I don't know what that is but a damaged MM punch sounds about right
Rest in Peace

There are push ups in the curves of S top and bottom, but I'm not seeing that as an RPM.

E&V , it's not necessarily that the mintmark punch was damaged but that your die may have received a deep punch when the mintmark was applied. Too deep a punch and the interior shoulders of the S punch could show.
If you look on Variety Vista ,1969-S ,dies one , two and three , show hints of what you are seeing on your coin.

Stoneman, I looked on VV and I see exactly what you are talking about on the the Mintmark. Thank you guys for helping me out. I don't keep stuff like this so I'm going to spend it. :)
