I've seen a few counter stampeds, but never one quite like this. Just thought I'd share it with ya'll.

Very unusual indeed! I never seen a counterstamp like this one before. If you keep stuff like this, I would definitely keep this as a good example.

I have a Lincoln Cent with an S on it like that. I have no idea what the S is for.

Could be from the "Lazy S" ranch where cowboys do nothing but counterstamp their coins all day...

You're not alone EandV, there are a lot of collectors that wouldn't just spend it.
Yeah it is Mark. I've seen counter stamped Kennedys on here with all kinds of stuff on them. He was a very popular president. The nation mourned deeply after his assassination. In 1980 there was a company that stamped them with a date commemorating the start of his presidency in 1960. They sold them for five dollars apiece.
Hard to say, Moxking. I think someone had extra time on his hands.
The only thing that comes to my mind is San Francisco Cwb. lol
I think you may have just answered Cwb's queation, Walkallnite! I does look like a ranch brand. The Fallen S Ranch.
