Was going thru. an old box of pennies mainly 50s and 60s and came across this, although widely available but it was a nice surprise,too bad it's got those ugly finger print spots!

Pure acetone sometimes removes fingerprints in a soak, although usually only fresh prints.

On BU coins the finger prints etch the color off the coin. So unless they are fresh, they might not come off.

moxking, like Coop said it is hopeless on older marks I have tried other ones and didn't budge,I'll give it a shot since I've got nothing to loose but I doubt it'll be effective.

Coinfrog,soaked it in pure acetone for 24 hours and as suspected no change
