Looking through miscellaneous coins yesterday, here's something I didn't expect to find--a Swiss 10 Rappen coin with a distinct DDO in the eye.
Swiss coins are normally so uneventful that I've never bothered to look...it's been in a drawer for 20 years.

Then again, perhaps it's just a die chip, and the forehead line threw me off?

First reaction was that it was a die chip.

But you are right, the forehead line looks doubled so I can see why you're scratching your head.

Yes, and if it's simply a chip--I don't understand why it would follow the contour of the eye and lid from top to bottom.
