It's pretty far gone; I can't make out much of the legend.

Looks line the obverse legend is written counterclockwise; that isn't common after Domitian, so I'm leaning toward one of the Flavians. Is it an as or sestertius?

nevermind. its not bronze nor copper.

it looks like silver underneath- I scraped some of the crud off it.

Are you sure it isn't a provincial issue? Maybe my eyes deceive me but it looks like there are centration dimples on both sides.

I can't seem to decipher the reverse as far as what city it may be.

body is upright on the coin- not angled.


its looking more like Domitian or Vespasian sestersius
