1942-1 Halfpenny, Type D Reverse? - Coin Community Forum

I noticed something unusual about it, so I'm looking for confirmation. Here's the reverse: Does this seem to match the type D reverse (tall denticles) variety discussed here? The denticles on the reverse side for the common coin are "fatter" as compared to the rarer type D which are longer and thinner, going close to the legends of the coin. Cheers. I have to wonder what the link above means by "rare", as a mintage estimate isn't given. Is this coin described by Maccas in further detail? There's a book I need to get! Quoting this source, it states: Quote: The majority of 1942 Bombay halfpennies were minted with this "type C" die but a few were struck with yet another tool prepared in Bombay, the "type D" reverse which featured tall denticles.
